New
update May 5th, 2002
In a recent
communication (10:35 a.m.) today with the Nativity church, Mary
Kelly told me that 45 meals have been permitted to the church
at 3:00 a.m. and 200 cigarettes. The Palestinians in the church
refused in the beginning because there are more than 150 people
in the church, but high officials said they should accept it as
a good gesture.
Mary Kelly
as well as most Palestinians inside feel frustrated that it is
them who should pay the price for Israeli crimes, it is them who
should be punished…. It is those internationals, who as human
beings wanted to help their human beings brothers besieged in
the church and carry some food and medicines to them, and for
their humanity they are to be punished by deportation as undesired,
as criminals in this so called democratic country. Shame on this
humanity who considers humanity as evil that should be fought…
shame on humans who consider themselves as such and still they
remain silent… shame on us who obey the international law, and
still the international law obeys Israel….
We call upon
the internationals to continue their actions to stop the deportations
of their colleagues and Palestinians who stood for their rights….
And who fought for these rights… we call upon you all to fight
against injustice committed against the Palestinians, who were
resistants yesterday, and now in prison as criminals and terrorists….
And if you consider them as terrorists, what about Israel… is
it still a country that defends itself?
