Fireworks in Gaza

July 23, 02

I don’t know what the occasion was really. But Sharon, the man of peace, is really full of surprises. I mean, you can never expect what he is going to do to entertain the media in the whole world so that they continue to admire his magical touch, his unprecedented talents, and his incredible imagination.

Fireworks, at midnight, when everybody is a sleep. No body has the spirit for feasts, but there he is, with his army of occupations, soldiers of unique courage, where they can fire, from their American made F16 “aircrafts”. Of course, as talented as he is, he wanted the surprise to be total. Every single Palestinian has to enjoy and appreciate all the efforts he does to make his people as close as possible to the Palestinian people. After all, they are brothers in blood. And blood there will be.

And he achieved that. He continues to entertain us with these continuous changes in the decorations of the cities, villages and refugee camps in Palestine. He continues to surprise the whole silent world with his erasing power that render the land like a virgin, ready to be planted anew. Of course the Palestinian architecture is so random and unorganized. So why not build new colonies instead?

So there we are, looking at our TV, to the very boring programs as usual. From time to time, however, we have some interesting news that keep the suspense and keep us wondering what would happen next. Who will condemn, protest, demonstrate or praise the courage of Israel and its right to defend itself, and who would remain silent. Of course, as logical as we are we can’t expect any action from any government, because after all the game is so exciting and Israel is really and truly, and without any contestation the only democracy in the Middle East.

(Excuse-me, it seems I have the nausea, I don’t know why. I hope you do not vomit as I did).

I almost believed what every body tries hardly to make us believe, and we are so blind that we can’t see that. We are so insensible that we can’t feel the miracles of Israel. We are so stupid and ignorant that we cannot realize what good Israel is trying hardly to do to us. Of course the same stupidity prevents us from realizing and admiring the positions of US government and Europe and of course Arab governments. All of them are real brothers that one can depend on them even in one’s death. So to return to the deeds of Israel available in the local and international markets these days:

Israel plans to expel the families of bombers to Gaza or other places.
Israel demolishes the houses of bombers and deports their families.
If operations stop against Israel, then Israel will withdraw from Bethlehem and Hebron, as a start. Not bad, isn’t it?
In response to Hamas leader Ahmad Yassin proposal of stopping the operations against Israel, Israel thanks were an exciting feast of fireworks presented by American F16s:
By misfortune, and by mistake of course, the missile which was fired on one single presumed terrorist so that he could be the first to admire the fireworks, has also surprised his daughters and wife and the whole building. Of course they were extremely happy that they couldn’t even control all the parts of their bodies which were dispersed in every corner- if corners were left- and on every particle of dust, on every fragment of the building… What an exciting view? Even the most talented of Hollywood directors couldn’t realize such a master piece.
Then of course comes the other actors, of no importance, 7 children aged from 3 months to 11 years old. We didn’t even hear them. They were just seen in the background and their bodies were put there for special effects.
Again, two actresses and two adult actors, not very good actors I suppose, because they also didn’t have a word in the show.
Shimon Perez, is really an extremely talented actor. Sometimes, I think he is more talented than Sharon. He has the task to make the occupation seem more human, and less ugly. When he meets and makes declarations, all believe that peace is just there, next door. But, then the occupation army, and Sharon come in the show. Of course everybody knows, I hope, that Perez doesn’t affect in anyway the events of the film, and his role is just buying sometime for this merciful government of Israel.
The comity of Four has really done a great job. They just follow the orders of god Bush, under the direction of master god Sharon. It is hard to find obedient slaves these days. Of course, the ideal solution would be a confederation with Jordan. Why should the Palestinians bother themselves with a state and citizenships and all this enormous work. After all, a king is more respectable than a president or a prime minister. No?

At the end of fireworks in Gaza, 12 lucky people have been chosen to join another world, Seven of whom are children under the age of 11. Less lucky, 145 people didn’t make up completely their mind so they remained in a purification hospital, 15 of whom are candidates for the next trip to the other world. Who will join the lucky group next? We will wait for the next episode of the adventures of the incredible Sharon and the Occupation Band. However, if you were in Israel, I think you will find some gamblers who will bet on the next location where action would take place.

By the way, I did not join the photos of the fireworks. They are so ugly, with all my respect for the talent artistique of Sharon and his band, and even if the possibilities are close to zero, but they risk to wake up some sleeping consciences. We do not want these consciences to wake up, otherwise they will be anti-Semitic. We do not want that to happen. So let them sleep in peace.

However, if some are sure that their conscience will not be troubled at all, they can find some photos on WWW.aljazeera.net. It is in Arabic, but anyway, a photo is a photo after all, however ugly/or beautiful it is.

By the way, after the fireworks there were a lot of people in the streets, a lot of faces and eyes full of joy and tears of happiness. I presume they were making a prayer of thanks to Sharon and his band. The music was taking their breath away, after all.

It is always good to live under occupation. Come in vacation. Why don’t you try it this summer? The sun, the sea, Sharon and the occupation band are here, as well as we too. I think our presence is the only inconvenient.

+++++
