Despite the dark clouds of occupation, enveloping our streets and cities
Despite the Israeli soldiers surrounding our homes and controlling the passage on our roads
Despite this frenetic war forced on us and on our families, children, trees, air and water... on our reason of being... on our life
Despite all the old and new entertainment techniques that the perverse mentality of a soldier of occupation invents
Despite all this continuous hysteria of security of the State of Israel which does not seem to have any definition
Despite all the death that became the daily bread for families
Despite the past, actual and future curfews forced on us and on our lives
Despite the abandoned streets, the demolished infrastructure, and absence of pilgrims in this land of Christ
We have the power to hope, and the faith in a new future
We have the force to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year full of health, courage and wisdom, decorated with joy and happiness, and based on peace and justice...
